On the Bench je tanečně akrobatická mezihra, kde dvě cirkusové umělkyně představují divákům ikonickou dánskou městskou lavičku. Ve svérázném a rozmarném akrobatickém duetu se tento známý městský prvek za zvuku Chopina setkává s tělesností a ruchem města. Artistky balancují s lavičkou s fyzickou přesností, a vytvářejí tak abstraktní a magický okamžik, který na chvíli naruší okoukanou všednodennost.

On the Bench is a dance acrobatic interlude, where two circus artists stage the iconic Danish city-bench. In a quirky and whimsical acrobatic duet with surprising choreographies to the sound of Chopin, the familiar element from the urban space becomes a participant in a playful meeting between body, bench and city. With physical precision and in balancing, the artists work on and with the bench creating an abstract and magical moment in the city’s mundanity.
